Incorporated on 13th August 1999, ABNM Restaurant Private Limited made a significant entry into the hospitality business.

Eating is the business of the five senses and the soul, and the success in comprehending the same has had ABNM Restaurant experience a consistent growth as a strong player in the market of standalone restaurants.

Red Hot Chilli Pepper opened its door on 20th September 1999, to successfully and effortlessly manoeuvre its way into the hearts of the Kolkatans. The packaged unforgettable experience of fine-dining, alternative ambience and delightful delicacies stirred quite some excitement amongst the locals in the city.
In 2003, the company moved ahead to launch Red Xpress, its second outlet, in Sector V Salt Lake City – the information technology hub of Kolkata. The opening of Red Kitchen and Lounge in Alipore followed in 2007.
There has been a recent spate of expansion, first with the Red Hot Chilli Pepper San Carlos, followed shortly by Red Hot Chilli Pepper, Guwahati in 2012.
Red Hot Chilli Pepper, Dallas opened in 2017, and Red Hot Chilli Pepper, Chicago was next on the block in 2018.

Manash Borthakur

Manas is a dynamic entrepreneur with sharp business acumen. He believes in monitoring progress, initiating remedial measures when required. With strong PR skills and business expertise, he has led The ABNM Group to achieve success within a short span of time.

Bharat Dhamala

Bharat looks after day to day production activities. His knowledge and wisdom have always been a recipe for definite success, particularly in building up a financially competent and cohesive team, while boosting the morale of the HRD personnel.

Ashim Mewar

Ashim joined Taj Bengal in the year 1992 as a Operations Management Trainee. His competence in F & B and strength in marketing services has helped him take The ABNM Group from strength to strength.

Namrata Borthakur

After eight successful years at the Taj, Namrata joined The ABNM Group in 2003. Responsible for all F & B operations, in-house training, standardisation of skills and services, process and product manuals, marketing initiatives & recruitment, she has a key role in the successful implementation of HACCCP & ISO 22000 in all the units.
